Colombian singer Feid, also known as Ferxxo, made history by becoming the first Latin artist to receive an official color certification from Pantone, the global authority on color.
“Ferxxo Green”: more than a color, a symbol
Pantone announced the collaboration, highlighting that “Ferxxo Green” is a bold, electric green designed to radiate vitality, optimism, and unity, with the goal of “uniting fans around the world.”
In the words of Pantone:
“Born in the verdant mountains of Medellín, Ferxxo Green is more than just a signature color. It's a symbol of independence, optimism, and the shared energy of a community.”
How the color was presented
The official presentation was made in the Pantone Color Institute Instagram account, using his iconic color card accompanied by one of Feid's representative characters: a drawing with fangs and a cap.
Community reactions
The artist's fans reacted enthusiastically on social media, commenting:
“Now yes, the green is yours”
“Officially your favorite color”
“The most well thought-out marketing of the genre!”
These expressions reflect how color has become an emotional and visual signature for its fan base.
A milestone in pop culture and design
The Pantone Color Institute not only standardizes colors for design, fashion, and visual communication, but also selects the "Color of the Year" each year, so this partnership with Feid represents an innovative union between urban music and the creative industries.
Additionally, Colombian media outlets such as Noticias RCN highlight that Feid has consolidated his personal image through the constant use of this color—in his clothing, sets, accessories, and more—generating a strong visual identification with his audience.
