After a six-year absence, the Big Apple Circus, one of America's most iconic circuses, returns to Boston with a special season running from October 9 to November 2, 2025, at Suffolk Downs. The new show is titled “The best in the world under our big tent” and promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Renowned for its artistic flair and intimate atmosphere—where no seat is more than 50 feet from the ring—the Big Apple Circus has won audiences' hearts by combining spectacular human feats with a deep sense of community. For nearly five decades, it has maintained its commitment to providing family entertainment without the use of wild or exotic animals.

This year's show brings together artists from around the world with performances that defy gravity, strength, and imagination:

  • Bingo Troupe (Ukraine): charisma and electrifying energy.
  • Kung Fu Boys (China): martial arts and high-risk stunts.
  • Nicolodi Brothers (Italy): seventh generation of artists who fly without fear.
  • The Flying Cassares (USA): Elite trapeze artists led by George Caceres and the renowned Paloma Torres.
  • Boris Nikishkin (Russia): humor and acrobatic talent with family tradition.
  • Alex Lichner (Spain): trapeze artist who has won more than 25 international awards.
  • Duo A & A (USA and Russia): an act of strength and elegance that has won multiple awards at European festivals.

The production is led by The Gold Group, in collaboration with EMC Presents BAC and Circus Vázquez, companies with a solid track record in circus and entertainment shows.

The 48th season of the Big Apple Circus is presented as a tribute to circus tradition and, at the same time, as a reinvention for new generations.

The show will last about two hours and is designed to delight families, adrenaline seekers, and dreamers of all ages.

Tickets are now available.

Thousands of Bostonians and visitors are expected to enjoy this long-awaited return, which promises to fill Suffolk Downs with magic, laughter, and excitement under the big top.
