Bad Bunny earns 27 nominations at the Latin Billboard Awards

The Puerto Rican artist leads the 2025 Billboard Latin Awards with 27 nominations, beating out Fuerza Regida, Rauw Alejandro, and Karol G.

Puerto Rican Bad Bunny reaffirms his dominance in Latin music by earning a record-breaking 27 nominations at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, the most ever for an artist in the awards' history.

An absolute leader

The report released by the Telemundo network and the magazine Billboard places him as a favorite in the main categories, from Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year to Top Latin Album of the Year thanks to his album I should have taken more photos.

Three of her most popular songs—“Baile Inolvidable,” “DTMF,” and “Nuevayol”—each earned five nominations, competing in categories such as Song of the Year, Sales of the Year, and Streaming of the Year.

Rising competition

Although Bad Bunny leads by a wide margin, other artists also appear on the list of finalists:

  • Regulated Force: 15 nominations.
  • Rauw Alejandro: 14 nominations.
  • Karol G and Tito Double P: 10 nominations each.
  • Featherweight: 9 nominations.

The date in Miami

The awards ceremony will be held on October 23 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami and will be broadcast live on Telemundo, Peacock, and the Telemundo app, in addition to being broadcast in more than 22 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The criteria for selecting finalists is based on the actual performance of the artists on the weekly charts. Billboard between September 14, 2024, and September 6, 2025.

A phenomenon that does not stop

With this achievement, Bad Bunny not only reinforces his position as one of the industry's most influential artists, but also sets a precedent that will be difficult to achieve in future editions of the Billboard Latin Awards.
