Multiple arrests at pro-Palestinian protest in Boston
Boston police reported 13 arrests and four officers injured during a pro-Palestinian protest that turned violent downtown.

A pro-Palestinian demonstration ended with several arrests and four officers injured Tuesday night, the Boston Police Department (BPD) reported.
The protest, which began peacefully on Boston Common, moved to Tremont Street and Winter Street, where clashes between protesters and police officers occurred. According to the official report, it was at this point that "a fight broke out, forcing tactical units to intervene."
The BPD confirmed that several people were arrested, although it did not specify the exact number or the identities of those detained. The four injured officers were treated at local hospitals and are out of danger.
The rally is part of a wave of pro-Palestinian demonstrations that have taken place in various US cities in recent days, amid international tensions over the Middle East conflict.
Police indicated that the investigation is ongoing and did not rule out further arrests in the coming hours. They also urged citizens to keep the protests within legal limits to ensure the safety of all participants.
In states such as California, New York, Texas, and Virginia, pro-Palestine marches and protests also took place, many of them on college campuses, with mixed results. At the University of Virginia, for example, students set up a camp demanding divestment from Israel, which ended with police intervention, the use of pepper spray, and at least 25 arrests.
