A spectacle never seen before
Karol G expressed her excitement about this milestone: “I’ve seen a lot of NFL halftime shows over the years, and now bringing my music to this global stage means the world to me,” the singer commented.
This event is part of the NFL's initiative to integrate Latin sounds into its sports entertainment. According to Tim Tubito, NFL director of global presentations and entertainment: "We wanted to honor Latin American sounds with a global figure like Karol G.
YouTube also celebrated this partnership, calling it a “milestone where football, music, and creators will merge in a powerful way.”
Context of the event
- The match will be the inaugural match of Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season, and, in addition to being available globally and for free on YouTube, will include a pre-show one hour before the kickoff, scheduled for 9 pm (Brazil time).
