Former US Vice President Kamala Harris will release her memoirs in the fall. “107 Days”, An intimate account of his 107-day presidential campaign, the shortest in modern history. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster on September 23.

“107 days traveling the country, fighting for our future,” Harris said in a recent video. The former vice president describes the book as a candid reflection on the challenges and lessons learned from her campaign. While specific details haven’t been revealed, the publisher’s CEO, Jonathan Karp, assured that Harris “addresses everything we would like to see her address.”

Harris's career took a historic turn when she assumed the Democratic nomination after Joe Biden's resignation, weakened by his performance in a televised debate. Although she was defeated by Donald Trump in last November's election, she would have been the first woman of color to win the presidency.

Harris has currently ruled out running for governor of California in 2026, but a possible presidential bid for 2028 is still being considered. Her appearance on Thursday at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will mark his first interview since the election.

The publisher describes the book as a “page-turning tale” with surprising revelations. With 320 pages, “107 Days” promises to be a valuable piece of contemporary political nonfiction.
